It is a must for hundreds of pilgrims who share their experiences in 1000Caminos. The winners of this competition about El Camino de Santiago were announced in February during a ceremony that took place in the capital of Galicia. Now, these lucky three will continue their adventure in France, Germany, and Italy.
More than 6,000 records and around 750,000 visits to the site since its creation, have made this sixth edition to have the highest expectations for all the participants.
The verdict took a long time but finally the jury formed by Anxo Manuel Lorenzo (on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, Education and University), José Ferrín (Galician News Agency), Ignacio Sánchez (Galiciaé), Manuel González (Press Association of A Coruña) and José Martínez Chantada (Bodegas Martín Códax) determined the following winners
