The fith edition of 1000Caminos, the Camino de Santiago contest of Bodegas Martín Códax, have its final winners.
The jury, formed by Bieito Pérez, CEO of Museo das Peregrinacións in Santiago de Compostela; Manuel González Menéndez, journalist and president of the Press Association in A Coruña; Pepe Ferrín, photograph of the Galician News Agency; Jose Manuel Garcia, journalist of Radio Televisión de Galicia, and manager of the program “Come e fala” and the president of our winery, José Martínez Chantada, decided the next authors and works winners:
- Best photograph: “Un amanecer” by Jose Juan Torres
- Best secret place: “Cementerio” by Manuel Felipe Trujillo
- Best story: “El gnomo del Camino” by Sandra Monteverde
The event was celebrated the 13th of february in Deán’s House in Santiago de Compostela. Winners will enjoy trips to Italy, France and Germany. They will be able to walk around the streets of its wellknown cities and live a wine tourism day in one of the most popular wine areas of Europe.
In the event, Martínez Chantada, thanks the support gotten from pilgrims around the world because the website had 500.000 visits in this five editions and more than 4.000 works. He also announced some news in the next edition.
