The Os Xoves de Códax ending always brings a bittersweet feeling. The last concerts put an end to the summer and music cycle. With its ending also comes one of the most gratifying moments : giving to different benefic associations the benefits which were raised with the ticket selling.
Results couldn’t be better. With a full house in each concert, the maximun amount possible has been raised for each organisation. It has been more than 15.000 euros in total for associations which have been with us in every show : Fundación Amigos de Galicia, Esperanza Salnés, Asociación Arela, Cogami, Asperga, Cáritas, Fundación Amigos de Mayores y Fundación Andrea.
Contributions that, thanks to every assistant’s generosity, will help support the different activities these associations organise.
The winery team couldn’t be prouder, not only because of the raised benefits along this fifth edition, but also because since the beginning of this initiative more than 38.000 euros have been donated to 16 associations. And the best thing is that there is still much more to come….
