About Habelas Hainas
Sandra Tamayo, Patricia Gamallo, Arantza Alfaia and Jara Ortiz are the members of this band that arises from their Galician roots but experiences tradition, taking advantage of the different resources of Galician folklore instruments to create an energetic, fresh and original sound.
It is in 2010 when the paths of these four women with broad experience in the field of the traditional music converge, hence creating the project entitled “Habelas Hainas”. Its starting point is the traditional Galician music, feeling as a part of a long tradition from which the need to express emerges, always from a feminist and plural vision.
