The IVAHM´13, celebrated between the 6 and the 9 of June, had with the compilations carried out by curadores of Finland (near guest of the Fair ARC 2014) and Sweden, whose biggest exponents were the artists Anders Weberg director of the Swedish Festival of Video Arte AIVA and directive Deceit Soppella of Artist’Association MUU (Finland), that arrived to our country after his recent step for the Biennial of Venice. In the programming Petra Havu, Manageress of the Association of Finnish Artists, a retrospective of the French artist Jean Gabrielle Périot, were present; and the Danish Christien Bach, thanks to the collaboration of the Embassy of Denmark.
Between the Shon Kim (South Korea) invited to this event, Liliana Olbrach (Israel), Takings Wells (Chile) and Mashira Tsutani (Japan) Yu-Shen Su (Taiwan) Lee Hyung-suk (South Korea).
With European vocation
One of the strong points of the IVAHM of this year was the congress that itself celebrated on Saturday in the morning, in what, under the motto “Another Europe is possible”, they took part among others, Susana of the Sierra, General Manageress of the Institute of Cinematography and of the Audio-Visual Arts (ICAa); Auli Leskinnen, Manageress of the Latin American Institute of Finland; Eva Hannikannen, cultural attaché of the embassy of Finland; Catherina Shook, chancellor of Culture and Press of the Embassy of Sweden. International artists, with whom it was discussed on the European cultural diversity as link of union, were also invited rompendo like this with the dominant eurocentrismo. After the congress, the assistants could enjoy a tasting of Martín Códax that they were invited to by the cellar. The afternoon of Saturday, the Festival presented the work Swede El sacrifice of the movie director Andréi Tarkovsky and Sunday, the Commissariat of MUU Video 2013, in Spanish Film Library Wool.
Likewise on Sunday the IVAHM that collaborates with Crambo Audiovisuales made old of the prizes DS Video Art, which fell on A Fora de Marc Capdevila, Albert Balasch and Tiá Zanoguera.
